    In this talk, we consider an nonoscillation problem about the non-autonomous linear difference system xn = A(n)xn-1, n = 1, 2, ..., where A is a 2×2 variable matrix that is nonsingular for nN. In the special case that A is a constant matrix, it is well-known that all non-trivial solutions are nonoscillatory if and only if all eigenvalues of A are positive real numbers; The well-known result can be said to be an analogy of ordinary differential equations. The results presented in this talk extend this analogy result. Some specific examples are given to understand our results.

主讲人概况:

Jitsuro Sugie,日本Shimane University教授。1980、1983年于University of Osaka Prefecture获得学士、硕士学位,1983-1984年在University of Osaka Prefecture进行博士学习,1984-1987年在Osaka University进行博士学习,1990年于Tohoku University获博士学位。1987-1993年于Okayama University任助理教授,1993-1995年于Shinsyu University任副教授,1995年至今于Shimane University任教授。主要从事微分方程、动力系统、生物数学研究,公开发表论文100余篇。现任Advances in Difference Equations、International Journal of Mathematics and Statistics等期刊编委。
